Relax in the luxuriously appointed 4 star log cabin, stroll down the natural walking tracks to the Eleanor River and experience the many species of wildlife native to the area including Kangaroos, Echidna, Koalas, Wallabies, Wedge-tailed Eagles, Black Cockatoos, Scarlet Robins, Fairy Wrens and Goannas.
Every effort has been made to ensure that you are able to enjoy your experience on this pristine island without impacting on the natural environment.
Environmentally Friendly Initiatives:
This Unique Log Cabin has been built with the environment in mind...
- Solar energy supplies the power while hot water is obtained with the use of LPG Gas.
- Water is by way of a 12,000 litre rainwater tank which supplies all utilities within the cabin.
- Waste treatment is achieved by utilizing the latest technology in the use of worms to convert the sewage and grey water to a safe and reusable irrigation system which ultimately waters the surrounding gardens.
- All cleaning and products supplied and used in the cabin such as detergent, shampoo, soap & conditioners are ECO certified.
